Harvest
Today's harvest from our garden
Thanks to the bounty from our garden I enjoyed a delicious raw lunch today (aside from some parmesan slices). Every day the kids are so excited to see what is ready for harvest. Usually, it is several handfuls of tomatoes and some kale, but sometimes we get other fun surprises-like blackberries or in the case of today grapes and apples.
The first apples are ready from our Anna Apple tree-planted last year.

Green Tea Leaf Headband
Originally knit for me, but Lorelai loved it so much that now we share it. I will be making another one a little smaller for her... oh and in pink of course.
This was a quick knit- mostly to give me something lighter and fun to do before taking on the task of seaming many, many little knit tooth fairy doll pieces together. I began knitting the tooth fairy when Lorelai's tooth started to loosen with the hopes of finishing in time and I was oh so close, but nature had another plan. Her second tooth is now loose as well so we are looking forward to having a tooth fairy doll to go along with the next big event.
