Just sitting here watching the academy awards and finishing knitting the feline dim sum. Above is a picture of the yarn I am doing it in. What can I say about it? It's bright, it's acrylic, it's hideous, it's Red Heart. I honestly have no idea what in the World my grandmother was planning to make with it. I inherited the stash so I can't ask. However, despite the brightness of the colors I have actually enjoyed seeing them blend together, as someone who has so far chosen mostly solid colors for her knitting, it has been a fun and different change. It will make a nice cat toy and my little Tortie Aphrodite will really enjoy tearing it to shreds. I will not feel too bad about it either. In fact I have several more skeins of this precious yarn from which to make her a new toy every month for the next couple of years!
